The fund embodies Sir Peter’s commitment to opportunity and innovation - enabling bright minds from all backgrounds to pursue research that pushes the boundaries of knowledge and technology.
Benefits
There are four £16,000 Scholarships available for a PhD in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences or in the Faculty of Business and Management.
Scholarship cannot be awarded in conjunction with any other funding or for a funded PhD programme
The scholarships are only offered as a tuition fee reduction
The £16,000 tuition fee reduction will be divided equally across the three annual tuition fee payments
This is a one off scholarship amount, and you will remain responsible for any shortfall in your tuition fee or living expenses for the duration of your PhD
Only available for students starting in the 2025-2026 or 2026-2027 academic year
Eligibility
- This scholarship is for PhD study at Cranfield.
They are looking for self funded PhD applicants who have:
- A genuine passion for undertaking a PhD
- An offer of admission
- Willingness to engage as a committed Cranfield Ambassador and as part of Cranfield Alumni network
