Asia University provides a limited number of scholarships each year for talented international students. All applicants may have an opportunity to compete for scholarships, depending on qualification of applicants, program admitted, and available budget.

Description

Currently, Asia University offers different types of scholarships. Applicants may compete for a limited number of scholarships, and the type of awarded scholarship is decided by the Admission and Scholarship Committee.

Benefits

Doctoral and Master Students:

Type A: Full Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees Waiver + 50% Dormitory Waiver & Monthly Stipend of 6000 NTD (not necessarily granted)

Type B: Full Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees Waiver

Type C: 50% Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees Waiver

Undergraduate Students:

Type A: Full Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees Waiver

Type B: 50% Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees Waiver

Type C: 50% Tuition Fees Waiver

Eligibility

Undergraduates:

  • Students awarded with scholarship A in Bachelor program should achieve an average grade of no less than 80 in previous academic year.
  • Students awarded with scholarship B and C in Bachelor program should achieve an average grade of no less than 75 in previous academic year.

Graduates:

  • Students awarded with scholarship A and B in Master program should achieve an average grade of no less than 80 in previous academic year and should have at least one paper published or accepted by Scopus conference or Scopus journal within one year from the date of registration.
  • Students awarded with scholarship C in Master program should achieve an average grade of no less than 80 in previous academic year.
  • Students awarded with scholarship A and B in PhD program should achieve an average grade of no less than 80 in previous academic year and should have at least one paper published or accepted by Scopus conference or Scopus journal within one and a half years from the date of registration.
  • Students awarded with scholarship C in PhD program should achieve an average grade of no less than 80 in previous academic year.
