Description

Merit Scholarship for young Cypriots wishing to continue their higher education studies in France. The scholarship runs for a period of 3 years for the bachelor degree, one or two years for the master degree (depending whether the student registers for the 1st or 2nd year) and 3 years for PhD.

Scholarships, funded by the Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation amount to 3,290€ per year for bachelor degree, 4,215€ per year for master degree and 10,252€ per year for the PhD.

Eligibility

  • Licence: school leaving certificate Apolytirion (18/20), 3 GCE A Levels (AAB), baccalauréat français (13/20)
  • Master: Bachelor (Lian Kalos from Greece, Upper Second Class Honours from English-speaking Universities, 3.00-4.00 from Cyprus Universities, French Licence with 13/20) or Master 1 from a French University with 13/20
  • PhD: Master from Cyprus or Greece (Arista), Master from English-speaking country (First Class Honours), Master from Cyprus (3.70/4.00), Master from a French University (16/20)
  • A French language level of B1 CEFR is the minimum required for candidates for bachelor scholarship and B2 for Master or PhD candidates. For programs taught in English proficiency in French is not required.
  • Applicants must have fulfilled all their Military service obligations.

Required documents:

Diploma of secondary school+university degree+Master+ expected certificate of French language (B1 bachelor; B2 master or PhD)

Review of applications by an ad hoc commission.
