Description

Two scholarships are available to Japanese students undertaking postgraduate study at a Scottish University.

Established in 2009 by the Japan Scotland Society to commemorate the founder, Mr Takahashi Yoshiteru, and long-time donor and supporter of the society, Mr James T Howat.

Eligibility

Applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be Japanese nationals planning to enter a postgraduate course at a Scottish University
  • Applicants must undertake to be active in Japan Scotland Society (JSS) after completion of their studies, (recipients will be expected to report on their studies and activities to JSS after completion of their studies).
