Description
Each year LSE awards a number of scholarships, funded by private or corporate donations. The number, value, eligibility criteria and type of scholarships vary from year to year.
All scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial circumstances in the first instance, and secondly take into account academic merit.
LSE is delighted to offer Lee Family PhD Scholarships on a rolling basis due to a generous endowment held by the School from the Lees Charitable Foundation.

These scholarships will provide tuition fees and a stipend for four years for a student from mainland China or Hong Kong to study for an MRes/ PhD or MPhil/PhD within the following Departments: Accounting; Anthropology; Economic History; Economics; Finance; Geography and Environment; Law; Management; Mathematics; Media and Communications; Methodology; Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method; Psychological & Behavioural Science; Social Policy; Statistics.
The Lee Family Scholarships are tenable for four years and will cover full fees and provide an annual minimum stipend of £18,062.
