Description
The Graduate Education Scholarships support American and Australian individuals undertaking or planning to undertake full-time Graduate level study (Masters, Ph.D. or Postdoctoral Research) at an accredited institution in the Australia to USA direction or the USA to Australia direction.

Benefits
In order to apply, the educational program must be a minimum duration of one year or have at least one year remaining. The scholarships will provide support of up to US $40,000 for one year to those in the specialty fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Health, Medicine and Sustainability. Scholarship funds may be used toward travel, living, tuition and other associated educational costs.
Eligibility
Eligibility requirements Australia to USA direction:
- All AUS to USA applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (dual citizens are not eligible);
- Applicants must have a formal letter of offer from an accredited institution, program or course in the USA at the time of application;
- Applicants must be conducting research or studying within the fields supported;
- Applicants must be studying at the Graduate-level or above (Masters, Ph.D. or Postdoctoral Research);
- Applicants may already have commenced their studies in the USA, but must have at least one-year of full-time study left.

- All USA to AUS applicants must be an American citizen or permanent resident (dual citizens are not eligible);
- Applicants must have a formal letter of offer from an accredited institution, program or course in Australia, at the time of application;
- Applicants must be conducting research or studying within the fields supported;
- Applicants must be studying at the Graduate-level or above (Masters, Ph.D. or Postdoctoral Research);
- Applicants may already have commenced their studies in Australia, but must have at least one-year of full-time study left at the time of application.

USA to Australia: Open for application on August 1 to September 30.
