Compulsory and elective activities carried out within universities, companies or research centres at both the national and international level:
General courses and lectures, mostly regarding methodological issues (e.g. statistics)
Specialized courses and laboratories coordinated by the PhD Faculty and held by the PhD Faculty and/or other lecturers
Specialized courses and seminars organized outside the University of Padova by other private and public institutions in Italy and abroad
Summer schools shared with other national and/or international doctoral schools, which allows Ph.D students to get in touch with Italian academics and practitioners experts in the areas of Management Engineering and Real Estate Appraisal, deepen research and statistical methods and procedures.
This programme may require students to demonstrate proficiency in English.
Admission to the PhD course is allowed to:
students with an Italian Master Degree
students with a non-Italian academic qualification issued by a university and recognised as equivalent to the Italian 2nd cycle degree qualification (i.e. Master Degree); if the foreign qualification has not been recognised as equivalent yet, the Steering Committee of the PhD Course will decide on its equivalence.
To be included in the selection process, the applicant must submit his/her CV and a research proposal. Reference letters (maximum 2) are not mandatory but will be positively considered in the evaluation process.
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
