  • Eligibility Requirement: Master's degree in any field. No previous degree in philosophy is needed. No age discrimination or limit.
  • Checklist: CV, two letters of recommendation, standardized tests scores are NOT required. No application fee (for citizens of EU/EEA and Switzerland a 32 € fee is charged and an entrance exam is held). any field. No previous degree in philosophy is needed.

  • There is a registration fee of 565 EUR paid only first year. After the first year, neither tuition nor other fees are due.
  • EU/EEA Distance learning/extramural fee: € 400 one time registration fee.
  • Non-EU/EEA Distance learning/extramural fee: € 3 300 per school year.


  • Full tuition waiver plus monthly stipend are available for EU/EEA/Swiss/UK students.
  • State medical insurance and social security benefits for EU/EEA/Swiss/UK students, as well as plenty of scholarships.
  • In these times of health crisis, we have allocated scholarships awarding full tuition waiver and monthly stipend as a special form of support to applicants from the EU countries affected the most seriously by the Corona virus epidemics: 3 scholarships quota to Italian citizens; 3 scholarships quota to Spanish citizens; 2 scholarships quota to German citizens;  and 2 scholarships quota to French citizens. Furthermore, on the same reasons, we will award a special scholarship to one resident of Canton of Ticino with a Swiss/EU/EEA/UK citizenship and a special scholarship to one citizen of Iceland. All other  EU/EEA/Swiss/UK citizens are eligible to apply for the remaining 7 scholarships.
