The PhD Information Engineering program is hosted by the  Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione (DII) of the University of Pisa, counting more than 80 permanent teaching/research staff, as well as more than 20 laboratories in the areas above.

Programme Structure

By its very nature, and exploiting the resources of the DII, the Doctoral program represents a special opportunity towards the creation of those multi-disciplinary skills that the world of research more and more calls for.

The application procedure consists of the following steps:

During the online application, the following documents must be uploaded:
  • the curriculum together with any relevant documentation
  • a research project (only if indicated in the Attachment of the competition available at the bottom of the page)
  • the degree of study accompanied by the documents referred to in Article 3 of the competition notice (only for holders of a foreign degree)
