Overview
The Proficiency in Art programme offered by Yasar University provides a high level education in the fields of theory and practice with a rich content from different disciplines of art and design.
These fields are art and design, graphic design, animation, music, film design and industrial design. The courses we offer to our students in our program can be listed as: Design History and Criticism, Graphic Design Studio, Computer Games, Film Theory and Research, Visual Culture, Chamber Music, Music Composition, Performance and Theory. The Program aims to bring the students to an advanced level both theoretically and academically, while also supporting the artistic production of the students.
Educational Opportunity
Art and Design Proficiency in Art Program’s language of education is English. As a condition of application to Proficiency in Art Program, it is necessary to get at least 80 points from YDS or to get another score equivalent to that defined by OSYM. ALES score is not required when applying to the program. In addition, the candidates to apply for the program are required to be graduated as Master of Fine Arts from the following departments or conservatories: Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Art and Design and Faculty of Communication.
