General requirements
- Master degree with training in Theatre Studies and/or Theatre Arts or Theatre Skills (or an acceptable equivalent qualification approved by the Senate) and an approved research proposal.
- Candidates who do not have an BA Hons from Stellenbosch University Department Drama may be asked to complete and pass the module 10116 Theatre research: Introduction to Research Methodology 771 (20 credits) in the first year of their registration.
