General requirements
- Be a citizen or national of an ADB member country listed below;
- Master course: have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a superior academic record. In Japan, an individual is required to be enrolled in school for at least 16 years in order to complete a bachelor’s degree. For applicants who have obtained their master’s degree in their home country and have completed it only within 16 years, their master’s level education may be counted as only be equivalent to a Japanese bachelor’s degree.
- at least two years in the field of health/medical science after graduation;
- Be aged below 35 years;
- Not be military personnel;
- Be able to arrive in Japan between 1st and 10th of April 2024
- Agree to return to his/her home country after completion of studies under the Program;
- Not be living or working in a country other than his/her home country;
- Have proficiency in oral and written English communication skills to be able to pursue studies;
- Be in good health.
