General requirements
- Applicants for the PhD programme should possess a Master's degree in Economics or related discipline, and a good background in Mathematics or Statistics. Those applicants with a Bachelor's degree can also apply for the PhD programme, but have to demonstrate excellent research potential.
- All applicants for the PhD programme are required to take the GRE General Test; those without the GRE score may still be considered, but they will be at a disadvantage.
