In cooperation with Ulm University, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Heidelberg University offer this Digital Law PhD program.

Programme Structure

What you will learn:

Digital Law doctoral candidates at Heidelberg University carry out fundamental research to prepare and accompany the development of legal expert systems.
They deal with questions of legal theory relating to the use of artificial intelligence in law and reflect on the methodological and constitutional requirements for the use of self-learning and probability-based systems.
