Overview
This Mathematical Statistics programme offered by Stockholm University supports the study of probabilistic models, probability distributions, and methods for drawing conclusions from data, integrating both theoretical foundations and applied approaches across different fields.
Key Facts
The academic environment includes structured doctoral training with a combination of coursework and thesis research, supported by an individual study plan that is reviewed annually. Training emphasises independent research skills, participation in seminars, and the development of analytical, methodological, and communication abilities in line with doctoral-level objectives.
