General requirements

Master’s degree must be in Asian and Middle Eastern languages and cultures or a related field (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Middle Eastern, North African, or Turkish studies)

Equivalent qualifications may also be accepted if comparable knowledge is demonstrated
Fluency in the primary language of the area of study required
Fluency in written and spoken English required
Practical experience in the language area (e.g. exchange studies) is desirable
General entry requirements include a completed master’s degree from a Swedish university or at least 240 higher education credits including at least 60 at the master’s level, or the corresponding international equivalents.
