General requirements

Hold a second-cycle (advanced-level) degree, have completed at least 240 ECTS credits including 60 ECTS at advanced level, or possess equivalent knowledge acquired in Sweden or abroad.
Have completed at least 120 credits in a higher education subject relevant to Environmental Science.
Have completed at least one advanced-level course in a subject central to the planned research specialisation.
Have completed an independent degree project of at least 15 credits relevant to the intended specialisation.
Up to 30 of the required 120 credits may be replaced by courses in another relevant subject area if justified by an interdisciplinary research focus.
Applicants with equivalent knowledge and qualifications may also satisfy the entry requirements.
Exemptions from the general eligibility requirements may be granted in exceptional cases where special reasons exist.
