General requirements
- Hold a second-cycle (advanced-level) degree, have completed at least 240 ECTS credits including 60 ECTS at advanced level, or possess equivalent knowledge acquired in Sweden or abroad.
- Have completed at least 120 credits in a higher education subject relevant to Environmental Science.
- Have completed at least one advanced-level course in a subject central to the planned research specialisation.
- Have completed an independent degree project of at least 15 credits relevant to the intended specialisation.
- Up to 30 of the required 120 credits may be replaced by courses in another relevant subject area if justified by an interdisciplinary research focus.
- Applicants with equivalent knowledge and qualifications may also satisfy the entry requirements.
- Exemptions from the general eligibility requirements may be granted in exceptional cases where special reasons exist.
