Overview

The overarching goal of the third-cycle programme in Language Technology is for the doctoral students to acquire a deeper understanding of linguistic methodologies and theories, practical knowledge of the subject and extensive experience of analysing and exploring areas of inquiry related to linguistic resources and language technology tools.

Careers

After completing their studies, the doctoral student at the University of Gothenburg will be able to work as a researcher and academic teacher in Language Technology (linguistic data processing, natural language processing), as well as within professions involving research and development in language technology within the public sector or industry.
