- Second-cycle qualification, or at least 240 credits including 60 credits at second-cycle level, or equivalent knowledge.
- Teaching qualification, including at least 60 credits within a relevant subject matter education area and a second-cycle degree project of at least 15 credits.
- At least 90 credits within a relevant subject matter education area, including at least 30 credits at second-cycle level and a second-cycle degree project of at least 15 credits.
- Equivalent qualifications obtained in Sweden or abroad may be accepted.
- Applicants must be considered capable of benefiting from doctoral education.
