- Second-cycle degree, or at least 240 higher education credits including 60 credits at second-cycle level, or equivalent knowledge.
- Second-cycle degree in a social science subject.
- At least 30 credits focused on environmental issues at first- or second-cycle level.
- A second-cycle thesis focused on environmental issues.
- Equivalent qualifications obtained in Sweden or abroad may be accepted.
