About the programme
The Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology at the University of Gothenburg conducts research in numerous areas, from molecule to human being.
Special mention can be made of psychiatric and neurological disorders, dementia, neuropsychiatric disabilities, eye diseases and the commonly occurring metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.
The aim of our research is to understand the root causes of these diseases. We are also working to ensure that the results can be quickly turned into better diagnostics, treatment and medicines.
