About the programme

The Building Materials course at Luleå University of Technology partly consists of broader courses aimed at providing a solid insight into the area of building material, and partly individual courses aimed at studying the latest research within the doctoral student's own research area.

The research work is communicated with the scientific community and other external parties with articles in scientific journals and at scientific conferences as well as through participation in conferences and collaborative projects.

An applicant meets the general entry requirements for doctoral (third-cycle) studies if he or she has been awarded a Master’s (second-cycle) qualification, has satisfied the requirements for courses comprising at least 240 credits, of which at least 60 second-cycle credits, or has acquired substantially equivalent knowledge in another way, in Sweden or elsewhere.
