We study the role of entrepreneurship in societal development, how institutional frameworks affect entrepreneurship and what factors are crucial for commercialising technological innovations.

Our research covers both established and emerging industries and sectors, and companies of all sizes. We work in close collaboration with societal actors both nationally and internationally, which means that our research results are directly relevant to companies, decision-makers and organisations.

Research in industrial economics and management is mainly conducted at the Department of Industrial Economics, where we combine theory and practice to understand and shape the business landscape of the future.
