The doctor of philosophy program (PhD) in Political Science at Simon Fraser University offers specialized research resources in five fields:

General requirements

Applicants must satisfy the University admission requirements as stated in Graduate General Regulations 1.3 in the SFU Calendar.

In addition to the minimum admission requirements, a completed political science MA is required, normally with a minimum 3.67 CGPA.

Any background deficiencies must be met by completing appropriate courses in addition to normal PhD work.
