Features
- Those seeking only a master's degree are discouraged from applying. Students with a previous master's degree (e.g., an MA that included a thesis in Psychology that was defended) can, on occasion, be admitted directly to the PhD program, but most often enter our MA program (there are coursework requirements specific to SFU Psychology).

General requirements
- If your transcripts do not clearly state your CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) on a 4.0 or 4.33 scale, then you MUST convert your grades by using one of the CGPA converters (available to download under Transcripts).
- If you cannot use our CGPA converters due to no letter grades or percentage grades, please review the information under Transcripts for next steps.
- Applicants with a CGPA under 3.5 are unlikely to be accepted to the graduate programs in Psychology.
