HDR candidates will be expected under academic supervision, to conduct independent and specialised research, disseminating the results of this research in either a written dissertation, portfolio of published works or creative work with an exegesis.

- The Philosophy degree at University of Canberra College incorporates up to 12CP of coursework study to be completed in the first two semesters of the PhD for a full-time student, or over four semesters for a part-time student.
