About the program
The doctoral researcher’s Dentistry doctorate is supervised by a subject matter expert (supervisor) and at least one additional scientist with a knowledge of the field (co-supervisor).
The supervisor and co-supervisor are appointed by the Dean. The work of the doctoral researcher at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf should be carried out in constant dialogue with the supervisor and co-supervisor.
Programme Structure
Research:
- The dissertation should be of scientific merit, contain new findings and demonstrate the ability of the author to carry out independent research and present the research findings appropriately in accordance with scientific standards.
- The topic of the dissertation is chosen by the doctoral researcher in agreement with the supervisor.
