Overview
Unlike other doctorates on the ancient world, however, we strive to avoid that the specialized study of one of the three areas into which our Classical Antiquity and its Reception - Archaeology, Philology, History PhD course at Tor Vergata University of Rome is articulated (Archaeology, Philology, and History) may interfere with an integral view of antiquity; therefore, our PhD students, while working on different projects, are required to participate in all the planned teaching activities, often held by scholars of international renown.
Features
- At the same time, each student is constantly supervised in the development of his/her doctoral thesis by at least two internal tutors and, in some cases requiring specific and rare expertise, by highly qualified researchers.
