General requirements
- Our graduate programme pursues the continued development and support of the doctoral students at Eberswalde University and is open to every young scientist who wants to work on topics related to biosphere reserves.
- Admission to the graduate programme requires a university degree (master's, diploma or comparable) in a subject area relevant to the planned dissertation topic. This university degree must have been completed with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0. An exception to the latter rule can be made by the Joint Commission of the BRI.
- At the time of application, we recommend that candidates have at least a C1 level of English. During the application process, the Joint Commission of the BRI decides whether the candidate has a sufficient level of English to participate in the programme. The provision of English language certificates is not compulsory.
