About the program

The Modern Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health program from Kazakh Agro-Technical Research University (KATRU) will help you:

To form a culture of academic honesty in the creation of scientific texts, mastering the skills of preparing publications in international peer-reviewed publications.
To master the modern methods of research in veterinary medicine, skills of analysis and interpretation of results.
To master the legislative foundations of the legal and anti-corruption culture for understanding professional ethics and the formation of a competent personality.
To demonstrate the skills of mathematical modeling of epidemiological processes and organization of infectious and parasitic diseases control.
To use the innovative methods of diagnostics, prediction and prevention of especially dangerous diseases, identification of clinical signs, course, transfer potential of zoonotic and transborder pathogens of animals and humans.
To understand the basic principles of Biomathematics, including Biostatistics, skills of using computer programs in research design, critical evaluation of information

a copy of the education certificate;
a copy of the certificate of passing the test for the programs specified in paragraph 14 of these Model Regulations (if any);
the list of scientific and scientific-methodical works (in case of their availability);
six photos measuring 3x4 centimeters;
medical certificate form 086-U;
a personal sheet on personnel records or another document confirming the work activity, certified by the personnel service at the place of work.
