As the Internet and related technologies continue to evolve, businesses and school boards across all around the world are turning to technology in the classroom to help engaging students more effectively in the learning process, to improve the quality of education, and to enhance the performance of students. As a result, the demand continues to increase for teachers who want to expand their skills in the integration of information and communication technologies into their teaching practices. To help meet this rising demand, Eastern Mediterranean University is offering the Information and Communication Technologies in Education course.
The programme is intended
- to prepare educators to assume leadership roles in the integration of both existing and emerging educational and information and communication technologies into the school curriculum or instructional activities,
- to provide graduate-level instructional opportunities for several populations (e.g., classroom teachers, corporate trainers, educational software developers, educational system designers, etc.) that need to acquire both technological competencies and an understanding of sound instructional design principles and techniques, and
- to make informed decisions or recommendations regarding adoption of existing or emerging educational and information technologies in a learning environment.

General requirements
- An official transcript of all university-level (Bachelor / Master) courses taken. A comparative mark/grade table if CGPA on the transcript is not out of 4.00.
- Attested photocopies of diplomas received from a university or equivalent institutions (i.e. 4 years study bachelor degree). English translations of these documents are necessary if they are in any language other than English.
- Documentation of scores received for English and academic proficiency exams/tests. This is not valid for the programmes in which the medium of instruction is Turkish. Native speakers should indicate the place of birth and citizenship. All others should provide documents of any one of the below given English Proficiency Tests.
- Three letters of reference (not required for EMU graduates).
