Overview
In the Medicine course at Western Atlantic University School of Medicine , we are committed to training students in an environment that is consistent with what you will experience as an MD, which is why we built a fit-for-purpose preclerkship campus designed by faculty to optimize student success.
Our Freeport Campus is not only the most contemporary preclerkship campus in international medical education, its proximity to South Florida (only 80 miles) also makes it one of the easiest to get to from the US and Canada.
Built by distinguished US medical education leaders with your every educational need in mind, our world class campus is home to a high-tech Simulation Center, standardized patients and virtual anatomy; examination rooms, lecture halls and classrooms; and study and small-group collaboration spaces.
