Overview

The PhD program in Occupational Safety and Health combines advanced theoretical training with specialized research development, offering students a strong academic foundation through three high-level core courses alongside a research component focused on the candidate’s chosen area of specialization. The program prepares graduates for international career opportunities in academia, as well as for senior research and consulting roles in both private and public sector organizations.

Doctoral students also have the opportunity to participate in research projects and innovation initiatives conducted by CERIDES – Center of Excellence in Innovation and Technology at European University Cyprus, gaining valuable experience in applied research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real-world occupational safety and health challenges.
