On-campus accommodation is provided by:
- Casuarina accommodation: Part of a network of International Houses in Australia and overseas, IHD, on Casuarina campus offers both local and international students a residential community.
- Katherine accommodation: ) is owned and operated by Charles Darwin University (CDU) on its Katherine Rural campus and managed by International House Darwin (IHD).
- Alice Springs accommodation: The Alice Springs Student Accommodation (ASSA) provides accommodation for CDU students, students from other universities undertaking placement, CDU staff and visiting guests, and groups.

Student Life
Campus life
- Casuarina campus is CDU's largest study location and the main hub for Higher Education, Vocational Education and Training (VET), and Research programs.
- The campus is located on Larrakia country, about 15kms from Darwin's central business district and within 20kms to Palmerston city.
- The nearest shopping centre is a 10-minute stroll away, but you can also jump on one of the many public buses servicing our campus. We also offer free inter-campus bus services between Casuarina and CDU Waterfront, for students, during study semesters.

The facility aims to enhance staff and students' overall health and well-being by providing a cost-effective, professional and safe training environment on the Casuarina campus. This aligns with CDU’s new strategic plan to promote a healthy lifestyle and a better work/study-life balance for both staff and students.
