Dokuz Eylül University is a state university established in 1982 in Izmir, the third biggest city of Turkey. Regarding its experience of more than 30 years in higher education, the university has the advantage of acting at the center of regional network of universities in the Aegean region.

DEU is a part of Erasmus+ Program and has more than 300 Inter Institutional Agreements in 28 different countries.
Mevlana Exchange Programme of the Turkish Higher Education Council, is a programme which aims the exchange of students and academic staff between the Turkish universities and other higher education institutions all around the world. We have 6 agreements from 5 different countries.

Our office, has been founded and contunies its activites by the approval of the rectorate authorithy with October 14th 2011 authority date and 1359 authority number. The office is a unit that provides to prepare students ideally to business life and also provides connections between students and representatives of business world. Office also helps students by mentorship services which vary according to students’ career aims. At the same time Office, organizes activities aiming to strengthen the place of our university between most-preferred education foundations, for the ones in university-choosing processes to start their university life.

DEU International Relations Office handles the internationalization efforts of DEU by establishing new academic cooperations all around the world in order to increase the international research and educational experiences of student, academic and administrative staff.

DEU is a multi-campus University dispersed throughout the city of Izmir at various locations:
DEU Health, Culture and Sport Facilities Directorate organizes the Spring Festival every year and coordinates the several art activities , prepares the brochures, posters and promotional materials and supports the student society activities.We share the honor of being a DEU member especially during the Spring Festival. The spring festival is organized in May every year with the objective of giving a break to the academic year weariness and socializing. In this festival DEU students and staff have the opportunity to present their skills and meet with artists, sports people and scientists.
In our university, there are total 150 groups including 29 rectorate community and 121 faculty, collage and technical collage managed by DEU Health, Culture and Sport Facilities Directorate.

To be honest location a little bad but we get use to . We have really good proffesors but we need a more lab about everything for example I study psychology and we also need it. Food is okey it should be a little cheaper but still is fine
You all think oh this school is in ?zmir so sea,sand,sun but actually it is in Buca. Besides this fact, this school includes the best tutors in Turkey but they look down on the students. It can change for every department but mostly midterm exams are harder than the finals. Still,even if you are here only once, it is impossible not to learn at least something,even if it is small,about any topic.
The university aims to deliver a robust hands-on learning experience; however, there are concerns regarding the support provided to students, particularly those from international backgrounds. The curriculum and academic calendar often appear to be developed in a rushed manner, particularly leading up to submission deadlines. Although the institution possesses significant potential for excellence, it has not consistently demonstrated a commitment to achieving this standard and has been noted for imposing high fees for various services.
