History

Villanova University was founded in 1842 by the Order of Saint Augustine. To this day, Villanova’s Augustinian Catholic intellectual tradition is the cornerstone of an academic community in which students learn to think critically, act compassionately and succeed while serving others.

Education

Housing services

Villanova University’s Office for Residence Life strives to create a welcoming residential community while maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for students residing on campus. Our staff oversees campus housing assignments and manages the day-to-day operations of our residence halls.

Library services

Falvey Memorial Library supports research, teaching, and learning at Villanova University while advancing global scholarship and the common good in collaboration with our community and partners.

Medical services

The Student Health Center takes pride in providing excellent health care to our students. Students can expect individualized attention and timely service, whether they are suffering from a cold, the flu, allergies, or something more serious.
