Villanova University

The only Augustinian Catholic university in the nation, Villanova values a personalized experience where teachers and students are partners in learning and scholarly inquiry. From undergraduate to doctoral students, Villanovans are intellectually inspired, morally grounded, globally minded. Villanova attracts and forges world changers—people who ignite positive change everywhere life takes them.

History

Villanova University was founded in 1842 by the Order of Saint Augustine. To this day, Villanova’s Augustinian Catholic intellectual tradition is the cornerstone of an academic community in which students learn to think critically, act compassionately and succeed while serving others.

Education

The University’s rigorous academic experience, rooted in the liberal arts, forms an environment in which students and professors are partners in learning. The Villanova community is dedicated to providing a personalized experience that fosters every student’s intellectual and spiritual well-being.

Research

Scholarly research is the process of inquiry that leads to the discovery of new knowledge.  Research by our distinguished scholars, be they faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, or professional research staff, is at the heart of Villanova’s scholarly culture, a culture that is a fundamental part of our community of learners.

Career

Provides comprehensive career services, offering guidance and planning for internships, job searches and graduate studies.

Throughout the year, career fairs and recruiting events are planned to connect organizations with opportunities to students and alumni seeking full-time jobs and internships. Here, we'll tell you about the fairs and events on campus and off campus.
