Student services
The mission of the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) is to provide support to Michigan State University’s international students, scholars and families.Services include:
- Advising on and facilitating compliance with U.S. immigration regulations.
- Conducting orientations and other special programming that help international students and scholars integrate into and adjust to the academic, cultural and social life of MSU.
- Serving as a liaison with U.S. government agencies, foreign embassies, sponsors and educational foundations that support international students and scholars.
- Contributing to the internationalization of MSU by providing opportunities for growth through cross-cultural interactions.
Housing services
- We offer special packages and rates to meet the needs of apartments and property management companies.
Library services
- We also offer some curated items from our collections shared via our Online Exhibits and Collections listing some of which are targeted to move into our Digital Repository.
ICT services
- Databases allow you to search the content of scholarly journals, magazines and other materials. Most include summary abstracts describing article content, and some provide the full text of articles
