History
Media University of Applied Sciences was founded by an experienced team of Higher Education professionals in 2008. Media University of Applied Sciences is a private, state-approved university with institutional accreditation by the German Council of Science and Humanities. All of its degree programs are additionally accredited by FIBAA (international agency for quality assurance in higher education). Media University of Applied Sciences is active at three locations across Germany: in Berlin, Cologne and in Frankfurt (Main).
Education
Our classic Bachelor degree programs can be completed in six semesters. Alternatively, you can choose a cooperative BA-study program (Duales Studium) which will take eight semesters to complete. This mode of study includes both an apprenticeship and a university degree. In either case, you will be proud of your hard work and success. Our Master programs, taught in English at our Berlin and Frankfurt campus, continue the successful approach and high standards of our undergraduate degrees. Full-time, they can be completed in four semesters, part-time in six semesters.
Career
Our lectures will provide you with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. When graduating from Media University of Applied Sciences, you will have gained a large range of competencies, giving you a definite advantage in the job market. We cooperate with various institutions and business partners in industry to complement the academic curriculum with real tasks and projects. Regular project weeks with renowned partners such as Sony, Deutsche Welle or ZDF are part of this strategy. Work by our students can be seen online, on TV and heard on the radio.

Campus life
Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt – all Media University of Applied Sciences locations offer optimal conditions for your studies in the fields of design, journalism and communication, psychology or business.
Urban, cosmopolitan, tolerant, media and business oriented – the three cities are equally attractive places to study, whether you are looking for classic production and service industries, young entrepreneurs and start-ups, the creative industries or financial sector.
Sports facilities
Students at Media University of Applied Sciences have the opportunity to stay fit and healthy at low cost and throughout the year. Our five affiliated partners provide a variety of sports offers to students at low prices. You can choose according to interests and location – there is something for everyone, from Aerobics or Aikido to Zumba. Some partners even offer the opportunity to take part in competitive sports.
Student clubs
The Media University of Applied Sciences Students' Union AStA (short for "Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss") acts as an elected student representation, supporting the interests of Media University of Applied Sciences students. The Students' Union also organizes events for students, from BBQs to game nights and parties.
State-approved by the Berlin Senate Administration. All Media University of Applied Sciences study programs are accredited by FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation), Bonn/Vienna/Zurich.
