Faculty of Philosophy
I think that the faculty is excellent because it has a lot of modules from languages to natural and social sciences. I don't like the fact that we have laboratories within the building, and we don't deal with chemistry. The professors are excellent and encourage the individual growth and individuality of every student.
Academic Programs
The university offers diverse programs that are well-suited for students seeking quality education. The professors are knowledgeable, and many are approachable, creating an encouraging learning environment. While some courses focus on theory, there are also opportunities to apply practical skills, though more hands-on projects would enhance the experience further.
And my journey continues.. she believed she could so she did and will continue to do so!
Overall my experience at NIU was great, the area that I lived in wasn’t the best or didn’t have a lot to do but I try to make the best of it. The community at NIU was very close and we always had someone to rely on. In DeKalb Illinois being a farm field type environment made it a little difficult to enjoy the atmosphere, but I tried my best and had my phone but also focus on my studies and was able to graduate within four years.
