Universities of the 21st century are inseparably linked with modern campuses. The advantage of the University of Hradec Králové is the fact that its development site is situated in the town centre in the vicinity of important traffic nodes.
The growing university campus is integrated into the town´s organism and is located within walking distance of major cultural, commercial and recreational sites. It conveniently adjoins the building of the Educational and Scientific Library.
The campus is easily accessible due to its location in the town centre, yet its approachability will soon be elaborated even more by the construction of a footbridge across the River Orlice and related bicycle paths.
In 2010, the University received the Diploma Supplement Label, a certificate issued by the European Commission confirming that the University meets all standards of European tertiary education institutions. The document is given automatically to all graduates, and it guarantees worldwide recognition of the diploma from the University of Hradec Králové.
