It prides itself on its dual focus on teaching and research and encourages service to society among its staff and students.
Over the years, HKBU has remained committed to academic excellence and the development of the whole person, and has gained a reputation as one of Asia’s finest institutions of higher learning.
Administrative and Supporting Offices:
To help students immerse themselves in University life, we offer a range of student accommodation.
The University Library is committed to providing quality resources and services in support of the University's teaching, research, and learning activities. HKBU librarians engage in teaching and instruction, providing learning opportunities that students do not receive in their regular classes. These are crucial to student success in academia and in the workplace.
The Medical Clinic provides general medical services for all full-time students. The consultation fee is HK$20 per visit (including medication) for eligible students. Students must show their student cards when they use the service.
Our sports facilities offer our students a chance to participate in recreational activities with fellow students and lead a balanced lifestyle.
Academic societies are composed of students studying the same course/ major. They seek to cultivate a professional attitude amongst members through co-curricular and extra-curricular studies and projects.
