CU consists of various schools: Business, Law, Media, Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Governance, Tourism and Economics and HealthCare School. The university has the legal right to award standard and diplomacy specialist qualifications based on Georgian legislation: bachelors, masters and PhD degrees.
There are also various certificate programs available at CU, including short study courses. Caucasus University has well-established relations with many of the top European, American and Asian universities. Students are thus afforded the opportunity to participate in two way exchange programs.
Students from other countries also learn with CU as regular and exchange students.
The main aim of the academic research department is to identify research priorities and use the findings of its research to develop management applications in various aspects of macro and micro economics, marketing, finance, law, humanities and social sciences, information technology, journalism and tourism.
The department also organizes school and university-wide meetings and different international conferences. Many interesting opportunities are afforded for creative youth activities and other forms of positive interaction.
CU is at the cutting edge of broad academic activity and has signed co-operation agreements with a range of international organizations.
Recruitment Office of Caucasus University helps its graduates to get employed in private companies as well as in public and government sectors. We won't really exaggerate by saying that currently Georgia is managed by Caucasus University.
Caucasus University library collection contains textbooks, reference books in English, Georgian, Turkish and French languages in various field.
Students can borrow textbooks from the library for the courses they are taking during the semester and must return them by the end of educational program, on the contrary, appropriate diploma/certificate will not be issued.
Student bodies play an integral part in creating social, cultural and intellectual environment of any university. Bodies of the kind, whether cultural or sporting, allow students to get involved in the activities facilitating to personal growth, developing leadership skills and establishing students’ unions. Student clubs bring students together and enable them to set common goals. The bodies based on social, entertaining or professional interests conduct multitude of social events, seminars, panels and conferences, concerts, sporting competitions, charities and others.
On December 30, 2009, According to report of the seventeenth session held by the Accreditation Council of National Center for Education Accreditation, Caucasus University was granted a five year institutional accreditation and the number of places was increased up to 3355.
