Me

I think this is a great campus. I am an older student and I feel very accepted here. The professors are great and you they are there for their students and want to succeed. There has been a lot of supports put in place to help students, especially if they are struggling with things outside the classroom to help them in their journey of obtaining their dream of a college degree.

Broad liberal arts training

It's a great school for graduate school. The professors are amazing and you really gain a lot of experience. The LP requirements for undergraduates are great because it allows you to interact with other departments and events you normally may not attend

Growing from the seeds

IU Columbus is really small but does its best with the resources it has available. There could be expanded parking and more safety precautions as anyone can enter the small building. But I feel the IU Spirit and the teachers and classes are great. My major complaint with the classes is that when there aren't enough students enrolled to a class the course has to be dropped by anymore enrolled. The downside of small colleges. However, the psychology research teachers are great and I have been able to get involved with a research team and I have applied to OSR in Chicago. I don't think I would have done it if the teachers had not been opened to allowing their students to get involved with what little they have started off with but are continuing to form.
