History
The management of TMDU consists in the creation of an environment in which all associated with TMDU can thrive, in accordance with the basic mission statement and under the leadership of the president.
Education
The goals of TMDU are educating individuals who are going to be medical professionals, including doctors and dentists; creating systems for research studies in the medical care and life sciences fields; fostering the development of sophisticated experts in medical and research fields; and making contributions towards society and humanity through these efforts.
Research
We conduct research on next generation methodologies, e.g. integrating various omics and molecular datasets to clarify trans-omics relationships. Such research will identify disease-related genes for new drug targets, and establish personalized and/or precision medicine.

Campus life
Incoming International Students: You will be assigned a tutor, who is another TMDU student, for your first year in Japan. Your tutor can answer questions, explain procedures, help you fill out documents and provide support during your first year of life and study in Japan.
Student clubs
Students engaged in basic research, group discussion and presentation, attended the English class, observed CU university hospital and private clinics, and experienced community health activities. In the cultural exchange program in the Global Retreat, TMDU students held a Japanese tea ceremony and danced Bon-odori wearing the traditional Yukata costumes. Meanwhile, the Thai students performed traditional Thai dance. Continuation of these young student exchange programs will be expected to establish a medical and dental network in Southeast Asia.
