The University of Macau (UM) provides strong student support through dedicated offices. The Student Affairs Office assists with campus life, including accommodation, stay permits, personal development, and counselling services to support students’ well-being and adjustment. It also organizes activities that enhance student engagement and university experience. Meanwhile, the Global Affairs Office supports internationalisation by offering scholarships for international students and creating a diverse campus environment. It organises various workshops, exchange programmes, and cultural events that promote global awareness and interaction among students from different backgrounds.
Housing services
UM’s Postgraduate House (PGH) consists of 6 buildings with about 3,200 bed spaces in total. Rooms are shared, with typically two students per room, as single rooms are not available. All rooms are fully furnished, air-conditioned, and include internet access and a private bathroom, but students need to bring their own bedding and personal items. The accommodation also covers utilities quota, weekly cleaning, and maintenance, along with access to shared facilities such as pantries, study rooms, fitness rooms, and laundry areas.
Library services
UM’s Wu Yee Sun Library is the largest in Macau, housing over 17.9 million resources across print and digital formats. It offers about 3,000 study spaces, group discussion rooms, and advanced facilities like multimedia labs. For master’s students, its extensive databases, research tools, and quiet study areas support efficient research, collaboration, and thesis work.
ICT services
Campus-wide connectivity at UM includes Wi‑Fi access via eduroam and UM‑WLAN, ensuring seamless online access and enabling full access to global academic resources and platforms, including Google, WhatsApp, and more. Students can securely connect remotely through an SSL VPN protected by two‑factor authentication (2FA).
Medical services
Healthcare facilities at UM are available on campus through the Medical Center. It provides medical consultations, nursing and first aid services, as well as basic health checks such as height, weight, blood pressure, and body fat measurement.

Campus life
The University of Macau (UM) has a unified, self-contained main campus integrating academic buildings, residences, and facilities. Slightly separated from Macau’s city centre, it is conveniently accessible within a 15-30 minutes commute, offering a focused study environment. UM is also building a second campus in Hengqin, which will house four new faculties and interdisciplinary innovation platforms. The two campuses are just a 5-minute drive apart and will operate under a "one university, two campuses" model.

Nice facilities, complete infrastructure. Program Professor all are professional and well connected with the industry to provided us with updated information. Program including hands-on experiences and theory about the management which is very interesting.

The school is modern and beautiful. The professors are good. And the medium of instruction is English. However, it's necessary to speak Cantonese or Chinese to live in Macau.
