History
Nuertingen-Geislingen University (HfWU) can look back on almost half a century of proud tradition. Founded in 1949 as a College of Agricultural Engineering, it was converted into a University of Applied Sciences in 1972 and later got its current name "Nuertingen-Geislingen University (NGU)".
Education
Today, the degree programs have been greatly enhanced by the strong core competencies in business, economics and environmental studies prevalent at the university.
Nuertingen-Geislingen University (HfWU) offers a number of innovative bachelor and master degree programs at its campuses in Nuertingen and Geislingen. The programs gained outstanding recognition in various German university rankings.

Applied research for sustainability of social e development - this is the principle of Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU). On the research map of the German Rectors´Conference, NGU is included with two research priorities:

Housing services
In Geislingen, there are 6 student residences. The 4 buildings in Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße are very close to the University. Exchange students normally live there. The 2 other buildings are down-town Geislingen but still within walking distance.
ICT services
We provide all central Information Technology services for University students and staff. The basis for using email and other computer-based services in the University is your computer account (also known as your email account), for which the University provides you with a username and password. This gives you access to email, central filespace, and a wide range of information and services.
Campus life
Nuertingen-Geislingen University (HfWU) is located with major campuses in the two cities of Nuertingen and Geislingen near the "Autobahn" connecting Stuttgart and Munich.
The cities of Nuertingen and Geislingen are located about 40 kilometers apart from each other between Stuttgart, the capital of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg to the northwest and Ulm to the southeast.
Accreditation
On November 13, 2013, the Accreditation Commission of AQAS granted system accreditation to NGU and awarded the seal of the Accreditation Council. Nationwide, NGU is the 15th university to be system accredited, in Baden-Württemberg NGU is ranked 4th.

Urban planning enthusiast
My study experience was generally fantastic. I learned the aspects of Urban planning in a european set up (Germany) and sporter the loopholes ofy country's (Malawi) urban planning as a profrssion. However, language was to some exten a setback.

My experience with my master and looking for the best for my career as Architect:)
well the experience was excellent as i had the chance to move from turkey to Europe after graduating from Altinbas University as ana Architect with highest ranking with honor, but in that time the courses were online and i wanted and integrated program more with practical courses not just theory perspective in the landscape design so i didn't enjoy it and i left the program before graduating as it wasn't what i am looking for it and corona phase was a hard time for me to continue that program too.... And now i am looking for something more interesting so that ı can mix my architectural experience with but more advanced and with practice and face to face to be able to interact with it and move on with my career!
