History
The School was founded in 1994. The first class was comprised of 56 students, all of them from Latvia. The year after, there were students from all three Baltic countries.
Education
By providing an education that is competitive at the European level, SSE Riga gives talented Baltic students an opportunity staying “at home” rather than going abroad for studies.
Research
A close relationship between education and research has always been one of the main strengths of SSE Riga.

Hard but worth it
Very open community. Studying at this university is one of the best experiences of my life. Although studies are very demanding, it is worth sticking it through because afterwards you are left with the great knowledge and expertise.

SSE review
The professors are very open. They come from various backgrounds in Europe, e.g. France, Latvia, Lithuania, etc. and bring a broader outlook on business life. The study process itself is quite demanding, but very rewarding.
