Starting from the three tin houses, from books and glass tubes to large land and houses, all were donated by private individuals. After a half-century of blue ray, Beijing Medical University has experienced the 17th board of directors, 8 chairmans, and 10 principals. They have pioneered the extraordinary achievements of Beijing Medical University.

• Research: Biomedical translation, focusing on characteristics, and planting forward-looking R&D capabilities.

The mission of translational medicine research development at Taipei Medical University (TMU) is to integrate resources from both basic research and clinical research, and invest heavily into the three major research fields: “advantageous field”, “emerging field” and “hidden potential field”. The major focus of advantageous fields will be on Cancer Translational research, Neuroscience research, Thoracic Medicine research, and Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Health.  The emerging field includes Biomedical Device, and Cell Therapy and Regeneration Medicine development.  At TMU, we also allocate resources to ensure an adequate infrastructure to identify and support all hidden potential (X) fields.
