Student services
Established in 2014, the Student Government Association (SGA) acts as the students’ voice to the University’s leadership, campus community, and public at large. In order to provide a positive college experience for all students at Florida Polytechnic University, the association approves funds, regulates campus-sponsored clubs, and advocates for students and their rights.
Housing services
On-campus living and dining are an essential part of the University experience. They literally fuel education and growth. At Florida Poly, the supportive, family-like environment extends to the residence and dining facilities and helps boost academic and personal success.
Two modern residence halls are central to the growing Florida Poly campus. They are an equally easy walk to the iconic Innovation, Science, and Technology building where classes are held and the dining and fitness facilities. Students enjoy the latest technology and accommodations in a setting that’s prime for continuous learning.
Library services
The library includes a digital collection of more 150,000 full-text e-book volumes that are a mixture of owned and licensed materials. The collection would require more than 15,000 linear feet of stack area for shelving of books if they were not in digital format.

Medical services
The Health Clinic offers a variety of healthcare services. The Health Clinic is provided by Lakeland Regional Health and is staffed by a Registered Nurse. Students can stop by the clinic for general medical services addressing acute conditions, minor illnesses, and injuries. The Clinic can also provide referrals to local health care providers and specialists as needed.
Campus life
Florida Poly is located along Interstate 4 at the heart of Florida’s High-Tech Corridor in the city of Lakeland, halfway between Tampa and Orlando. Like its name implies, Lakeland is known for its waterfront neighborhoods and more than 60 miles of biking and walking trails. The city has a vibrant downtown filled with shops, restaurants, parks and performing arts venues.
Sports facilities
Florida Poly prioritizes student physical and mental health and has developed recreation facilities that offer exceptional access while capitalizing on Florida’s mild climate.

Exceptional
The first advantage when reviewing FPT University is the training program. The training program at FPT is completely different from other universities, it is practical, closely linked with businesses in the market, so it is highly appreciated. At FPT, the student's curriculum is guaranteed to be always updated to conform to international technology standards. In particular, FPT students after finishing their studies will be highly appreciated by businesses thanks to their focus on foreign language development while still in school.
Good emphasis on practical skills
The university provides a good campus environment focused on developing essential soft skills like teamwork, collaboration, and self-learning. This emphasis on practical skills enhances students' abilities to thrive in various professional settings. Overall, I would recommend FPT University
Applied Mathematics at FPU
The math department at Florida Poly is a close-knit community that is rapidly expanding with the university. All of the math professors are experts in their fields and are great to talk to about course work and personally. I gave the program 4 stars because of math is extremely difficult and, I would argue, the most difficult major at the university. I just completed my degree and I am struggling to find a career that needs my expertise.
