• PUCPR´s strategic plan for 2020 aims at consolidating its rank as a model institution of higher education in Paraná, inspiring personal growth, willingness to learn and group work in all of its actions. Interaction between the university and business companies through partnerships with the productive sector is encouraged, revealing an updated view of the University’s connection with society.

• In the last decades, PUCPR focused part of its investments on scientific production – and the results can be clearly seen. An example to be mentioned is for example PUCPR is responsible for 20% of all scientific publication in Paraná, a percentage that ranks PUCPR in the first place when compared to the private institutions of Paraná.

• The development of an expressive quantity of qualified research projects is essential for the recognition not only of the institution itself but also of the professionals involved in these activities.

• PUCPR has a special program of scholarships in order to encourage students to start the development of scientific and academic research.
